Welcome to the Jungle Room!
A quick glance around our home reveals our hobbies: souvenirs from around the world, photos of friends and vacation shots on the walls, and a "Jungle Room" full of our collections... Star Trek, 101 Dalmatians, banks, tins, Pepsi stuff... Like the physical version, this Virtual Jungle Room will be full of the things I'm interested in. Read on to explore my hobbies and interests.
If you have any comments, drop me a note. Or keep reading all the way to the bottom and sign my guestbook!

Albums & Travelogs
Albums include our adventures
across Alabama, a San Francisco trip, and a two-week drive around Ireland
with a lengthy travelog. (Look for Louisville, Kentucky and Mississippi's
Natchez Trace albums to be added next, along with more Alabama albums.)
You'll also find lots of garden photos. In addition to albums from several public gardens, I'm working on an album of my own gardens that will be up soon.
I have several albums of friends, family, and pets -- maybe someone you recognize?

Cooking
I love nothing more
than preparing a big meal, then filling the house with good friends to
enjoy it with. Here are some of my favorite and most-requested recipes.

Games
We spend a lot of
time playing games around here. Two of my favorites came from Gin and Lynne.
We have shamelessly corrupted the rules, however, so what follows are our
versions.
Rogue is an old
(1980's) DOS game. I played this one "way back when" on my first DOS machine
with 256k of memory and two 5-1/4 floppy drives, and it's still one of
my favorites. This is freeware -- just click the link to download,
unzip and enjoy! (Send me your
highest score and I'll start a Wall of Honor.)
Surfing
the Web
...naturally. I
challenge you not to find an interesting new link on my links page.
Plus you'll find a few of my favorite pages below.

Eclectic Link Collection

Now
here's a great deal. Sign up with
MyPoints
and begin earning points for looking at ads and visiting websites. Get
a credit card -- earn points. Buy a magazine -- earn points. Get someone
else to sign up (like I'm trying to do!) -- earn points. They accumulate
very quickly, and you can start getting free stuff with as little as 400
points. That's free as in no shipping or handling or any charge.
Zip, zero, nada. Since I've been a member, I've gotten $5, $10, and $20
gift certificates to BlockBuster, Chili's, The Olive Garden, and gas stations.
I've also gotten Christmas gifts for friends, and a neat little bronze
kitty that sits out by my fishpond. I've been a MyPoints member for a few
years now, and their service has been outstanding from day 1.

Visit
My Church!
Metropolitan
Community Church of Huntsville is a radical Christian church -- by
"radical", I mean that the church teaches that God loves everyone and that
the Communion Table is open to all. We're blessed with a wonderful leader,
Pastor Richard, whose love for Jesus and enthusiasm for sharing that love
is drawing many new members -- and drawing back many old members. (Uh,
no need to name names...)
